Every cake smash session is designed to be relaxed, fun, and completely centred around your baby.
Portrait Photos First – We begin with beautiful photographs of your baby before the cake is introduced. This gives us the opportunity to capture lovely smiles, expressions, and milestone portraits while allowing your little one time to settle into the studio and feel comfortable in their surroundings.
Cake Smash Fun – Once your baby is settled and happy, it’s time for the cake smash. Your little one can explore, taste, squish, and smash their birthday cake while I capture all the laughter, curiosity, and messy moments that make these sessions so memorable.
Optional Splash Session – After the cake smash, many parents choose to add a warm bubble bath splash session. Babies usually love splashing in the water, and it provides a lovely clean-up while creating even more adorable photographs.
Family & Sibling Photos – We can finish the session with family photographs and sibling portraits, creating beautiful memories of this special milestone for the whole family.
Styled Just for You – I provide the backdrop, props, balloons, and decorations for your cake smash photoshoot. You can choose colours or a theme to suit your baby’s personality and first birthday celebration. You’ll simply need to bring the cake and your baby’s outfit.
Cake Smash Session Fee
To book your cake smash photography session in Preston, there is a £50 session fee.
This covers:
✔️ Your baby’s photoshoot in my Preston studio
✔️ All props, set-ups and decorations
✔️ A personalised viewing appointment after the shoot
💡 Please note: The session fee does not include photos or products. These are purchased separately at your viewing.
Collections of digital images start from £249.
1-2 weeks after your session, you will return to the studio for a private viewing appointment, where your photographs will be presented in a beautiful personalised video slideshow and you can select your favourite images.
For families who wish to display their photographs at home, a selection of luxury wall art, fine art prints and heirloom photo books is also available.
